DISCOVER COOROORA ARTS THERAPY
A Creative Approach to Healing
Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I am an arts therapist located at the foot of Mt Cooroora in Pomona, in the Noosa Hinterland. I offer creative processes (visual art, collage, clay, movement and more) to explore feelings, increase self-awareness, develop resilience and to find a way for dealing with uncertainty or the unknown. There's absolutely no previous art experience or skill needed. Feel invited to come to my Studio at Pomona, in the Noosa Hinterland and play with paint, collage, clay, or movement and find yourself just BEing in the moment.
SERVICES
CREATIVE PROCESSES
Through creative processes we can often express what is hard to put into words. This opens the path to exploring areas where we need more resilience, want to set boundaries and navigate relationships or cope with change. We can explore what's important for you in non-judgemental empathy, presence, time and connection - and with fun and play.

PARTS WORK
My specific aim is to hold a safe space for you, just listening with compassion. I also believe that thoughts, images, feelings and sensations that come up in us can often be complex and contradictory. You might have heard yourself saying something like "One part in me wants to do x and another part can't be bothered to get up....". For this I offer creative parts work, where we can be curious about what is going on for these parts. This can help you to navigate between them towards finding your Self.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Arts therapy (including parts work) can be used in conjunction with other healing and counselling modalities. I would be happy to explore with you what it is that you specifically could get out of it. Please don't hesitate to give me a call for a chat on 0422 548 056.

“My experience indicates that emotions do not follow the same logic that applies to fixing problems in other areas. I have learned repeatedly that the maxim 'trust the process' always offers the best operational advice."

ABOUT ME
Hi, I am Celine.

I hold a Masters of Therapeutic Arts Practice from the Melbourne Institute of Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy - MIECAT. I am offering a safe space where people who work with me are acknowledged in their lived and living experience and respected as the experts in their own life. We will take the time to explore together what emerges in the session with curiosity and compassion. We will focus on the creative process itself - not the product - and you get to choose the materials or modalities that work best for you. I also have trained and practised as a voice dialogue facilitator and have extensive experience in volunteering as a Lifeline Telephone Supporter. In a 'previous life', I worked in Human Resource Management and as Environmental Specialist in various roles in Government and Industry.
I am registered as a professional member with ANZACATA , the peak professional association for Creative Arts Therapies in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
I am also a member of ARAFMI, the peak Mental Health Carer Support organisation in Queensland - and I particularly love to work with mental health carers based on my own lived experience.
